It’s almost time for our full announcement of the Irish Barista Championship 2025, which will be launched in the coming days. In our recent Newsletter, we announced the IBC 2025 will be happening on 23rd & 24th August.

We’re working with our venue partners, the specialty coffee Irish powerhouse that is Bewleys on Grafton St and our wonderful sponsors - which so far include La Marzocco, Brew-It Group, Marco, Oatly, Brewed by Hand, Acaia and more - to put together an amazing competition and event over the two days.

We wanted to get ahead on competitor registration and offer an early-bird presale discount of 50% off for all competitors who registers on or before Friday 27th June 2025. We want to encourage as many people as possible and lower the barrier to entry as much as we could to help with some of the expense that can come with competing in a barista championship in particular.

We’re delighted to announce the Irish Cup Tasters Championship 2025 (ICTC), which will take place at Dublin Coffee Festival in the RDS, Dublin on 12th & 13th April 2025.

The winner of the ICTC will go on to represent Ireland at the World Cup Tasters Championship which take place in Geneva, Switzerland, across June 26-28, 2025.

After a fantastic event and an incredibly high level of competition, the Irish Brewers Cup 2025 winner has been crowned.

We’re delighted to announce the Irish Brewers Cup 2025 (IBrC), proudly sponsored by Square, will take place at Catex in the RDS Simmonscourt, Dublin on 19th & 20th February 2025. This is the first championship of the 2025 season and we can’t wait to crown a winner who will go on to represent Ireland at the World Championships in Jakarta.
