Irish Brewers Cup (IBrC)

The Irish Brewers Cup celebrates the craft and skill of manual filter coffee brewing, bringing together some of Ireland’s most skilled and passionate coffee professionals. In this unique competition, the initial round is called Open Service, where participants must make three meticulously brewed coffees by hand, showcasing their knowledge of brewing methods, extraction, taste descriptions and presentation. Competitors are judged on their ability to highlight the unique qualities of their chosen coffee, from aroma and flavor to balance and clarity, as they prepare and serve their brew to a panel of judges.

For coffee enthusiasts and professionals alike, the Irish Brewers Cup is an exciting chance to push the boundaries of what coffee can be. Whether you’re an experienced brewer or new to the competition scene, this event offers an inspiring environment to refine your skills, learn from others, and share your passion with the wider coffee community.

Details on the next IBrC will be shared on the Newsfeed, as well as through social media and email list, so make sure you’re subscribed and following along for future announcements.
